Teenage Relationships

Relationships, between whoever it may be, are unique. Sometimes, it is quite simple, but not easy to understand. Everybody would like to maintain good, unique, understandable and ideal relationships; however, if everything was as smooth as thought, life would have been easy for everyone, and the world would have become an easy place to live in. A teenager would take his/her relationships very seriously. In the romantic relationship, they not only show too much of interest but also get involved in them with the same passion and commitment. They spend hours thinking about the other person in the relationship.

Teenage relationships are mostly immature and messy. To make it worse, these relationships revolve around fantasy rather than reality. In the adolescence, relationships are peculiar, and a teenager seems to get attracted to everyone he/she meets on their way, and talk to them pleasingly, particularly the opposite sex. There is no proper pattern in the relationships they create. Due to this random nature in the relationships, they keep getting attracted to too many people at the same time, and sometimes get involved with many people going by their weird thoughts. Most of the teenagers feel thrilled by being in relationship with too many people, and have misconception that they are becoming popular. What they normally don't understand is that their life goes haywire and they become a laughing stock when they fail.

Immature and fantasy teenage relationships mostly are due to insecure feeling in life. Most of the teenagers feel that they should get into relationship with someone or other to be accepted by other friends who are maintaining one. Sometimes, lack of love and emotional support from people at home also cause the adolescent teenagers to make wrong decisions in life. It is the duty of the elders at home to explain them the reality of life and bring them back to a normal track. Not all teenage relationships are bad. A few relationships are based on ground reality, and the people involved in a relationship are quite matured for their age. They maintain a clean relationship by really understanding each other's needs likes and dislikes.

Teen years are the most important phase of one's life, as it is the period of transition from a child to man/woman. The teenage relationships formed during this period may lead them to different paths that might change his/her life completely. Mostly, the mind of a teenager is quite clean to start with, and yearns for a long, healthy and honest relationship. However, if they get into relationship with a wrong person, who is abusive, or addicted to drugs or alcohol, life becomes hell. It is wisdom to slowly get out of such relationship to save one's future, and live a decent life.
